Privacy policy
Last updated · 30 July 2026
Relayne is built to keep your information on your device. This policy explains the small amount of personal data we handle when you use relayne.app or take part in the private beta, and the choices you have.
01Who we are
Relayne is made by Zyphyr Studio (“we”, “us”). We are the controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@relayne.app.
02What the website collects
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the time you joined, and which page the form was on. Nothing else — no name, no company, no profile.
To keep the signup form from being abused, we keep short-lived counters derived from a one-way hash of your network address. They expire within about an hour and are never linked to your signup.
The website has no analytics and no advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes.
If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply and follow up.
03What the Relayne app processes
The Relayne application reads the documents and windows you point it at locally, on your Windows device. Your documents are not uploaded, and the app does not send their contents to us or to any cloud AI service.
Any troubleshooting data the beta keeps (such as local logs) stays on your device unless you choose to share it with us.
04How we use personal data
- Waitlist email — to confirm your place and to contact you about beta access and available builds. Nothing else; there is no newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by asking to be removed.
- Abuse-prevention counters — to keep the form usable. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Support correspondence — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
05Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers acting on our instructions: Cloudflare (website hosting and storage) and Resend (email delivery, EU region). Waitlist email is stored and sent from EU infrastructure where the provider offers it; Cloudflare operates a global network with appropriate safeguards for any transfer.
06How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until Relayne becomes generally available or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter.
07Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Email hello@relayne.app and we will act on it. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data-protection authority.
08Children
Relayne and relayne.app are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
09Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes affecting waitlist members will be announced by email.
Questions about anything here: hello@relayne.app.
